Funded Hours
We offer funded childcare places for eligible children. Government funding covers eligible funded hours only.
Any additional hours attended outside a child’s funded entitlement are chargeable at our usual hourly rates.
Optional charges may apply for items such as snacks and breakfast club food. These charges are voluntary and are not a condition of accessing funded childcare.
Families can access their funded entitlement free of charge. Please speak to us if you would like to discuss alternative arrangements regarding optional extras.
Snack Charge
Children attending a morning session are provided with a healthy and nutritious buffet snack.
A voluntary snack charge of 75p per attended morning session contributes towards the cost of providing snacks.
Families can still access their funded entitlement free of charge if they choose not to pay the voluntary snack charge.
Additional Information
We do not currently charge a consumables fee.
We do, however, have an Amazon Wishlist for families who may wish to support additional resources and running costs. Any support is entirely optional and always greatly appreciated.

Supporting Us
Bybrook Pre-school provides early years education and childcare for children aged two to five.
As a charity, we receive government funding to deliver funded early education places for eligible children. This funding covers the delivery of funded hours in line with government requirements.
To enhance our provision and support additional resources and experiences for children, we also welcome voluntary support from parents, carers, local businesses, grant-making trusts, and members of the community.
Any additional support is entirely optional and is used to enrich the learning environment and help us develop the setting for the future.
We welcome support from our local community and value the involvement of those who wish to contribute to the development of Bybrook Pre-school. All support is entirely voluntary and helps to enrich the experiences and opportunities we can offer to children. For more information, please contact bybrookpreschoolcommittee@gmail.com or bybrookpreschoolenquiries@gmail.com
Support can be provided in a number of different ways:
There are opportunities for local businesses who would like to support their community pre-school setting. This may include voluntary financial donations or donating prizes for fundraising events.
Individuals are also welcome to support us by offering their time, skills, or resources. This could include helping with administration, supporting maintenance tasks, volunteering within the setting, or sharing knowledge about their job, profession, or hobbies with the children.
